Ten from Six!

Barbel Challenge update




Two more doubles, from the River Soar  bringing the doubles caught to 10 from 6 rivers.

10lb 3ozs and 12lb 10ozs

The minimum target is to get one double from each of 14 rivers

A double from each river counts to the funds at the last count each double is worth £90, on top of the donations so far received of £1048.  Donate here:

    Looking at the BS forum some may have their fingers burnt.One chap donated a "Score" a double,ouch ;-0

    Glad I just chucked in a few bob for an overall donation;-0

    I have to say I had a bit more confidence in the lads and did a straight donation,mind you with after thought I nearly did the double pledge, but topped up my first donation instead.

    At least one on BFW looks to be regretting earlier comment too! ;o)

  3. If you are referring to me Fred I regret nothing. If certain people choose to deliberately take my comment out of context of the thread it was posted in and then misrepresent it for their own twisted reasons that is their problem not mine.
    When you consider all the slagging off I get for all the 'stirring I allegedly do you would think someone would have the balls to put some of the allegations into print but I have yet to see one of my detractors offer up one shred of evidence to back their claims, the reason being, like the so called 'barbel land' it only exists in their minds.

    I was referring to a certain individual who rubbished the teams capabilities of catching doubles!

    Still,if you have a guilty conscience, that's good enough for me ;o)
