Thank you Steve Pope


Spreading the word

The comments I have seen by one or two on the Internet are potentially libellous. If these individuals were worth sueing I would investigate possible legal proceedings. There are some truly odious people out there in the fishing world who make it their life's work to bait people and spread lies and innuendo and I will make it a personal mission to ensure that as many genuine people know who they are. Fred has done an excellent job for the Barbel Society and he will be a difficult man to replace.

    Let me add this as well.

    I will not sit back and let people spout absolute lies and total garbage against someone who I have worked alongside for the past five years.

    I may not always have agreed or liked it when Fred has found himself involved in forum spats but unless I'm very much mistaken he has always been baited and his breaking point is reached quicker than others, that is no crime.

    I cannot believe how downright nasty some people can actually be and we are talking about people in the autumn of their lives, they should know better but I'm of a view they are just downright bad, rotten to the core.

    As long as I am drawing breath they will never be welcomed back into the Barbel Society, if the day came that we became that desperate I would walk away from it all, and I promise everyone that won't be happening anytime soon.

    So to you spiteful individuals with very sad lives I say back off Fred right now, he's a better man than the lot of you put together.

    That is my final word, copy and paste and do what you will but rest assured the many hundreds of people I know will hear from me who the true villains are.

    I see from the ABF site they still have an active link to R****'s blog.
    Could it be they are frightened to remove it because he may take his toys away, or maybe they just condone his attempts at defamation of character ?

    Just a few anonymous posts tonight,six in fact, whilst I've been down the pub quiz.Mostly very juvenile, so I won't give them a show.
    One of them claims to have formed the ABF too!
    Even E****** says my last post on the subject, and then comes back on with another one....at least.

    Not one of them has to courage of his convictions to give a name and believe it or not, one is now accusing me of child molesting!
    Ol' R**** certainly influences a sad,sad crew,for their easy fishing!
    Viewing count is ensuring the word gets around though, four times the usual.Hahahaha!
