Well done

ABF

How remiss of me, congratulations on yet another charity fish-in which has raised over £900.
Funds going to the Barnsley Hospice, the type of set up close to my own heart at this time.

Just one personal question for you ABF officials though.
How on earth can you expect to gain any credibility, when you rely on one certain individuals whims to such an extent ?
Having just looked at your site, it appears as a result of his backing (HPS/HK), you accept his spreading of clueless innuendo and lies, and allow his blog link on your front page.
Surely an embarrassing situation to allow yourselves to get into!

  1. Fred thanks for the congratulations even if you did use them as a vehicle for another chapter in your personal war of words with Tony Rocca.

As you are not in the ABF you really cannot influence our policy. You know that I left your organisation because I did not agree with the way that you were conducting yourself on the internet. I must say that you have curtailed those activities vastly since those days and it is good to see.

I am not in the least bit embarrassed by having a link to members blog on the ABF site, Tony's opinions are his and not those of the ABF, anyone can see that. ABF officials have never engaged in 'internet wars', it is clear therefore what our policies are. However you have and continue to engage in such activities and you are a BS official, I cannot see why you would wish to involve the ABF in such a manner.

The ABF are fulfilling their aims to raise money for charity in conjunction with other organisations wherever necessary and as a result are growing at a sensible and sustainable rate.

I feel that we would be better working together on some common aims rather than bickering. It is a waste of energy in my opinion.

    Respectfully

    Conrad

  2. Hi Conrad thanks for your response.
I have no reason to "bicker" with yourselves, and certainly have no wish to influence your policy.
However it appears to me, that by giving an individual a more public ability via a direct link from your site to take pot shots at individuals and in particular an organisation, that should, and probably would be happy working with yourselves, runs against such potentially common aims.

Having such a link, with somebody who is obviously active, if not an official within ABF would, in my personal opinion, not lead to any joint working relationships.
    Your's also with respect

    Fred
